Financial Accounting Clerk
This is a financial accounting clerk position that supports, assists and informs the Financial Accounting Department in the recording and maintenance of assigned accounting records and systems to meet the goals of the Cooperative, protect the Cooperative’s financial records and business practices while maintaining a strict level of confidentiality for all cooperative reports and records. Duties include managing accounts payable, unclaimed property, depreciation and continued property records, balancing and closing materials, transportation, work orders, preparing accounts and notes receivable, insurance claims and audit work papers, reconciling various general ledger accounts and daily cash reports, and serves as a back-up to the Accountant.
Qualified applicants must have a high school education or equivalent, and an Associate’s Degree with two years of accounting experience; or four years of utility accounting experience may be substituted. Must have working experience with bookkeeping and work order accounting. Proficient in personal computer, word processing, Excel and database programs. Must have the ability to effectively work with customers, public and employees while promoting a pleasant working atmosphere among associates. Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and personal records and exercise independent judgement and discretionary power in the use, processing and implementation of information, documentation and support for all financial requirements.
Must demonstrate strong initiative and work ethic, good attitude, proactive, strong problem solving skills, well-organized self-starter, highly motivated, goal oriented, great inter-personal skills and ability to work under high demand situations. Qualifications must include broad experience, industry knowledge, strong communication skills, with ability to meet commitments and deadlines. Must promote a safety culture and create a team player environment. This is a non-exempt, salaried position. This position is open until filled.
I.T. Systems Analyst
Qualified applicants must have an Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Computer Technology and five years’ experience with computer support and computer technology. Network administration and Windows System Administrator experience are desired. One or more industry certification such as COMPTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft MCSA, or Cisco CCNA are desirable. Must have experience with workstations and end-user application tools within a Microsoft/Cisco environment. Duties include maintaining and repairing enterprise servers, workstations, laptops, tablets, smart phones, multifunction printers, telecommunication systems, network equipment, and other peripheral devices. Must demonstrate strong initiative, customer service orientation and ability to meet commitments. Good communications and people skills, proactive, creative, well-organized, neat, self-starter, highly-motivated and able to work under high demand situations. Qualifications must include good attitude, skill, ability, adaptability and problem-solving behavior. Valid Oregon driver’s license required. Must reside within 20 miles of headquarters facility. This is a non-exempt, salary position. Position is open until filled.
