Sign Up For Operation RoundUp®

Each month, your electric bill can be voluntarily "rounded up" to the nearest whole dollar amount with the extra change going into a separate Operation RoundUp® fund which helps various causes or organizations within our community. On average, participating members can expect to donate about $6.00 per year. Together, those small amounts will make a big difference!

MEC Energy Efficiency Services

Conservation is more important than ever in this economy. MEC offers Free Energy Audits, Rebates, and tips to our members for installing energy-saving measures and adjusting their lifestyles to make their homes more efficient. Rebates are available on ENERGY STAR® appliances, heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, duct sealing, windows, weatherization and manufactured homes.

What does it mean when there is a red flag warning in effect?

A Red Flag Warning means that a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. A Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) is a preventative operation that utilities can use to help ensure their equipment does not start or contribute to wildfires during red flag conditions.
